Question:Does this charge the steam deck while in use?
Answer:Yes it absolutely does

Question:If i connect this dock to my steam deck, a 65w usb-c charger and a hdmi display, does it charge my steam deck at full speed (45w)?
Answer:Yes but why not use the charger that came with the Steam Deck? I use it and stay at 100%. Even when streaming a movie on Netflix... any of them.

Answer:Yes, you can charge your deck and use the ports at the same time. I haven't used the HDMI port, but I have used the ethernet and usb ports and it works great with keyboard, mouse and 360 controller.

Question:will this dock work with the Elgato capture card?
Answer:Yes

Question:Does the dock regulate output so that maximum resolution isnt automatically selected? Can you force the deck to output at 720 or 1080p with this dock?
Answer:As of a few patches ago, you can do this in the steam deck. Select any game you play docked > gear > properties > game resolution, select what you want output to the dock. Start the game. Native will take the max resolution anything lower will output that to your TV/display.

Question:Does the dock fit a Steam Deck with a case on?
Answer:Yes, there is space for both the Deck and case.
