Q: Can this be left pluged in as a permanent wired speaker for a desktop pc, or would this damage the battery?
A: My battery is still good. My charger failed along with many other people. Micro USB stop showing red LED when plugged in. I had to install a permanent plug,hardwired to the battery inside to charge it and keep it on. I bypassed the whole board and hooked a charge directly to the2 cell 7.4 volt lithium battery. Works great now and supplies my pc with sound. I leave it plugged in for weeks at a time.
